In this section, participants learn the importance of starting their day with a proactive approach to goal setting. Daily planning involves answering strategic questions related to nutrition, exercise, and overall well-being, fostering a mindset geared towards success.
Creating Sustainable Habits: Through strategic goal planning, participants develop a roadmap for the day ahead, outlining their intentions for nutrition, movement, and self-care. The emphasis is on cultivating sustainable habits that align with individual lifestyles, ensuring that goals are not only achievable but also adaptable to the ebb and flow of daily life.
Questions to answer each morning are below. If you run through these questions each morning, then you can answer “yes” to the quiz question “Did you plan your daily goals in the morning?”.
Yes = 1 point.
No = 0 points.
It’s ok if you don’t have something planned for the day yet, running through this list will help you identify what needs to be done to help you reach your goal of 50 weekly points.
Daily Planning Questions
1. Nutrition:
- Did you plan your meals for the day, ensuring they align with the approved foods list?
- What is your simple nutritional goal?
2. Exercise:
- Have you scheduled 30 minutes for physical activity today?
- For the simple exercise goal, what quick activity can you commit to for at least one minute?
3. Healing Zone:
- What time do you plan on eating dinner and going to bed?
- Will this allow for no food or sugary drinks 3 hours prior to bed?
- Will this allow for zero blue light exposure 1 hour prior to bed?
4. Hydration:
- Have you calculated and prepared to consume water equivalent to half your body weight in ounces today?
- What strategies will you use to meet your hydration goal consistently throughout the day?
5. Goal Planning:
- If you’re going through these questions each morning, then you are properly goal planning!!
