The gut lining and the immune system work closely together, and when that relationship is out of balance, the whole digestive tract can feel it. Gut Lining & Inflammatory Balance gathers the products I commonly use to support the gut lining, microbial balance and a calm inflammatory response.
Creating a Fullscript account is free, and you can look through every product before you decide anything.
The mechanisms this protocol supports
The gut lining depends on tight junctions, a protective mucus layer and a balanced community of microbes, and these all communicate constantly with the immune cells that sit just beneath the lining.
When the barrier is under strain or the microbiome shifts, immune signaling can stay switched on longer than it should. Supporting the lining, the microbes and the inflammatory response together is the idea behind this protocol.
Research has linked disruptions in gut barrier function, microbial balance and immune signaling with inflammatory bowel conditions such as Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. This protocol offers nutritional support for those mechanisms and is not a replacement for care from your gastroenterologist or medical team.
