If you purchase the above supplements, we will be sending you in the mail another booklet with complete instructions along with your supplements. In the booklet, you will find detailed information regarding the supplemental protocol, the dietary suggestions on which foods to include and exclude, and proper hydration.

This online guidebook has been thoughtfully crafted to provide you with the necessary tools to successfully complete a detox program even if you don’t purchase the detox supplements from us.

Let’s discuss the key components of the 14-Day Detox.

Recipe Guides & Approved Foods

As part of the 14-day detox program, participants are provided in this online guidebook both a four-week recipe guide and a list of approved foods. The four-week recipe guide serves as a valuable tool, offering a wide range of delicious and nutritious meal options. However, it is important to note that participants are not required to follow the entire guide. Instead, they have the freedom to select recipes that appeal to their personal tastes and preferences over the next 14 days. Alternatively, participants can choose to utilize the list of approved foods as a reference, allowing them to create their own meals using the suggested ingredients. This flexibility empowers individuals to customize their detox experience while ensuring they adhere to the recommended food choices, ultimately promoting a successful and enjoyable journey towards improved health and well-being.

Pre & Post Assessment Questionnaire

We recommend going back to the page titled “Pre and Post Assessment Questionnaire” and answering the questions before starting the 14-Day Detox and upon completing the 14-Day Detox.

Anti-Inflammatory Foods

A balanced diet rich in whole, nutrient-dense foods is essential for supporting the body’s natural detoxification processes. You will focus on incorporating a variety of fruits, vegetables, healthy fats, and lean proteins into your diet. To support the body’s detoxification processes, it is important to avoid foods that may cause inflammation or contribute to toxin buildup. This includes processed foods, sugar, refined carbohydrates, and unhealthy fats.

The next page will contain a comprehensive list of foods to include. The majority of foods eaten should be fruits and vegetables.

Include

  • Organic fruits
  • Organic vegetables
  • Grass feed meats
  • Wild Caught Fish/seafood
  • Nuts/Seeds
  • Oils: extra virgin olive, coconut, flaxseed, avocado.  (Grass fed butter)

Exclude

  • Grains
  • Dairy
  • Sugar
  • Processed foods
  • Artificial sweeteners
  • Alcohol
  • Vegetable oils: vegetable, corn, soy, canola, sunflower, safflower, margarine

Support Liver Function

The liver is the body’s primary detoxification organ, responsible for filtering toxins from the blood. Supporting liver function is essential for effective detoxification. This can be achieved by consuming liver-supportive foods such as leafy greens, cruciferous vegetables, and sulfur-containing foods like garlic and onions.

We highly recommend to consider supplementation. Certain supplements may be helpful in supporting the body’s detoxification processes. These may include milk thistle, N-acetylcysteine (NAC), and glutathione.

  • Milk thistle for liver support: it stimulates the growth of new liver cells and promotes the repair of damage liver tissues.
  • N-acetyl cysteine as a powerful anti-oxidant and a building block for the body to produce glutathione.
  • Glutathione as it enhances phase 2 detoxification and regenerates other anti-oxidants.

Hydrate

Proper hydration is crucial for a successful detox, as it supports kidney function and aids in the elimination of toxins through urine. Make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day to maintain adequate hydration levels. Additionally, consider incorporating electrolyte-rich beverages, such as coconut water, or adding a pinch of natural sea salt or Himalayan pink salt to your water to help maintain electrolyte balance. Electrolytes play a vital role in regulating nerve and muscle function, maintaining fluid balance, and supporting overall health. By staying well-hydrated and maintaining electrolyte balance, you can optimize your body’s natural detoxification processes and improve your overall well-being. Aim for 8 glasses a day.

Exercise

Exercise can help to improve circulation and lymphatic flow, which can aid in the elimination of toxins from the body. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise per day, such as brisk walking, yoga, or swimming.

Stress reduction techniques

Chronic stress can contribute to toxin buildup in the body. Stress reduction techniques such as mindfulness meditation, deep breathing exercises, and yoga can help to support the body’s natural detoxification processes.

Additional Tips

Keep grains at a minimum.  The optimal detox has no grains. If you find yourself unable to avoid all grains, you can include gluten-free grains only (brown rice, wild rice, millet, quinoa, amaranth, buckwheat). Try your best to avoid completely for 14 days.

Keep legumes at a minimum. The optimal detox has no legumes. Examples include black beans, kidney beans, lima beans, peas, lentils, green beans, snap peas, and snow peas. Soy should be eliminated as it has a larger potential to elicit an allergenic response.
